Meet the Team

Mr. Childress serves as a Director of the firm and has spent the majority of his career in private equity and leveraged finance both operating and investing in founder-led and family-owned businesses experiencing transformational change and rapid growth. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Director with the technology investment arm of a multi-strategy private equity firm focused on control investments in companies primarily in the hospitality technology, healthcare software and healthcare IT industries. Prior to that, Mr. Childress was a Senior Associate with Cotton Creek Capital, an operations focused middle market private equity firm, where he evaluated new investment opportunities and provided post-closing portfolio management. Prior to Cotton Creek, he was an Assistant Vice President at Madison Capital Funding, a leveraged finance firm providing senior debt and minority equity investments to middle market private equity firms. Mr. Childress began his career at Comerica Bank as a commercial lending officer.

Mr. Childress earned an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Finance from Michigan State University.
